Advertising. Digital Media. Exhibitions and Trade Shows. It’s all too much. So how do you decide where to spend your valuable marketing bucks for the best return on investment?
Marie Kinsella is the CEO of newly formed International Exhibition & Conference Group Pty Ltd which specialises in trade fairs, conferences and event
management. But her experience in this area is extensive. In 1997 she founded her former company Australian Exhibitions & Conferences Pty Ltd developing
it to become the largest Australian owned and operated company in the trade fair and exhibition sector before selling in 2010 to a UK-based multi-national.
Former Australian Furniture Association President, Maria McLeod, can attest to Marie’s knowledge and influence in this space.
‘When some years ago the AFA went looking for a professional event management team to assist with the delivery of our marquee event, FURNITEX, we were
extremely fortunate to secure the services of Marie and her team at AEC. The development of FURNITEX under her guidance and direction was testament
to the level of professionalism and dedication demonstrated by this amazing business leader. FURNITEX grew from strength to strength and as an industry
we were the better for it. As a solo operator, she grew her own company, employing a strong team of 46 before taking a well-earned break, but now she’s
back and the opportunity to learn from this highly successful business woman should not be missed.’

The Australian Furniture Association will host Marie Kinsella, CEO of IEC Group at this year’s Furnishing Futures Conference in July. Marie will be joined
by Lynn Hill, from Graphic Publishing, publishers of Queensland Homes Magazine and other titles. Facilitator for this group discussion will be corporate
film maker, international broadcaster, journalist and media communications strategist, Jo Pearson.
‘What draws me back to this year’s Furnishing Futures Conference is the passion and energy of the organisers and the direction of the programme,’ says
Jo. ‘The Australian Furniture Association (AFA) continues to deliver this world class event, which only adds to the level of expertise that delegates
can expect to hear and learn from.’
