Following an extended period for feedback on the validation drafts of the new Certificate II in Furniture Making Pathways and new elective units, final editing and independent QA review has been completed.
The AFA confirms its agreement for the draft Case for Endorsement to be provided to the MSA Board for approval and submission to the Department of Education (Federal). All feedback has been considered and changes incorporated in agreement with the various stakeholders.
The draft Case for Endorsement and final Quality Report for MSF Release 2 was attached for consideration and agreement has been reached with all major stakeholders on the final draft endorsed components – these can be accessed on the MSA website via this link: MSF Release 2 Case for Endorsement.
This Case for Endorsement is to be considered at the October meeting of the Australian Industry Skills Committee (AISC), after it is submitted to the Department of Education and Training.
The draft Case for Endorsement has also been provided to State Training Authorities (STAs) and relevant Industry Training Boards (ITABs) for response. AFA stakeholders will be updated on any future developments.
