What’s got everyone fired up about FURNITEX connect?
The FURNITEX connect roadshow is going from strength to strength with visitors pleasantly surprised and re-enthused about the future of the industry.
Here is what one of the attendees had to say following the Melbourne session:
"Having recently attended the Melbourne AFA-Furnitex briefing for 2015 with more than a little scepticism in my pocket over recent events regarding the running of the 2015 Furnitex exhibition, I was pleasantly surprised and delighted with the straight talk from the new organisation, Expertise Events, now charged with running the Furnitex exhibition.
In my mind Furnitex over the past few years had become discouraging in that Australian manufacturers were being lost in all the noise from overseas manufacturers and retailers.
It is gratifying to see an invigorated AFA wanting to get back to some basics in representing and promoting Australian furniture manufacturers.
This re-found enthusiasm and energy from the AFA has given me the confidence to not only talk the talk about Australian furniture manufacturing, and value add, but to walk the walk and commit my business to exhibit at the 2015 Furnitex exhibition."

Past displays of gift, jewellery and other non-relation product will be dropped from the show floor so we can return the show to what it once represented and celebrated.”
