More than a third of Australian SMEs say not building the necessary partnerships or relationships for their business was the biggest mistake they made last year, according to research released to the AFA this week by Telstra.

The survey of 1000 SMEs found 38% of small businesses regretted not investing in the proper relationships, while 20% said their biggest business faux pas was not investing in technology at the right time.
