About the role

As the Showroom Consultant, our retail hours are 9am – 5pm, Monday to Friday. This is a full-time permanent position based at our States Showroom in South Melbourne, who requires a customer centric person to provide the best service to our customers. You will be passionate about furniture, relationship building and achieving sales. Be part of and support a successful team of likeminded professionals.  Core responsibilities are:

  • Being the face of the company, meeting and greeting customers within the retail showroom
  • Educating and enlightening our customers on our products and services
  • Preparing quotations, proposals and conducting presentations
  • Assisting Business Development and Account Manager with sales support
  • Establishing and building strong relationships with existing customers and creating new business opportunities
  • Actively supporting and promoting JasonL’s Core Values

About you

To be successful and set yourself up for success, you will bring:

  • A passion assisting customers to achieve their goals and targets
  • Prior experience in a sales role, experience in furniture is not necessary but favourable however sales of a tangible product is mandatory.
  • Charismatic with exceptional verbal and written communication
  • Highly organized and self-motivated
  • Results orientated and focused
  • Able to apply a common-sense approach to problem solving and decision making
  • Strong commercial acumen
