The Sunshine Coast Regional Economic Development Strategy (REDS) 2013 – 2033 was developed via a partnership between Sunshine Coast Council, State Government and local business and industry partners to guide and facilitate economic development in the region. Since its adoption by Council in 2013, the REDS has been providing a 20-year vision and blueprint for sustainable economic growth for the Sunshine Coast.
After a period of significant growth and change within the region, now is the time for local business and industry to have input into the next ten years of economic development via the 2023 REDS review. As a valued member of our business community, your feedback and participation can help make a difference in shaping our region’s future.
Business and industry survey
The first step in the review process is a business and industry survey to inform the update of the REDS and the associated action plan. This is your opportunity to have your say on the future direction of the Sunshine Coast economy. The survey will close on 7 March 2023.
