Businesses warn a return to work from home won't work for them

Business leaders have cautioned against any move by state and territory governments to mandate a return to working from home, despite a rising COVID-19 caseload.
The Australian Industry Group contends that this would undermine the progress that employers and workers have made since resuming office-based work after the first wave of Omicron peaked. He also warns that directing people to resume wearing face masks at work would be counter-productive, as it would deter them from returning to the office.
