Global GreenTag International is a product assessment body that certifies and verifies sustainable product claims made by progressive manufacturers. Developed in Australia with a global focus, Global GreenTag comprises numerous certifications and declaration programs for a number of different purposes:
- Global GreenTag PHDs and integrated HealthRATE™ and Asthma & Allergy Sensitive™ Certifications: WELL™ and LEED® recognised ingredient hazard transparency reporting with GreenTag’s unique ‘In Use Healthiness’ rating TAG;

- NaturePositive+ Declaration™ and its related NaturePositive+ Standard™ and product certifications (PHDs, EPDs and MSDs are integrated within NP+Ds).
- Manufacturer Verified Claims: McVs are TAG based claims 3rd Party Verified and customised to manufacturer’s communication needs according to existing GreenTag or other Standards as recognised or customised.
- Global GreenTag LCARate™ certification assesses and rates the ‘cradle to end-of-life fate’ of eco-preferred products, particularly green building materials and also a wide range of other products and technologies to help alleviate environmental impacts, create healthier and greener environments and ultimately to supply trusted, reliable and simplified technical information such as:
- CarbonRATE™ a Carbon Trust Mark that shows “% Carbon Saving”, Net “Zero Carbon” and “Carbon Credit” (Sink) potential and CO2e/unit metrics to help professionals and end consumers make informed, critical decisions quickly that reduce risk in their search for safer, healthier and more sustainable product choices.
- Global GreenTagCertTM GreenRate™ certification enables products to be allocated Level A, B or C in the Green Building Council of Australia (GBCA) and New Zealand GBC’s Green Star™ tools and certify both VOC and formaldehyde (composite wood) credits. It is for all products and project types requiring Sustainable product certification and also enables Product Transparency reporting with:
- Global GreenTag Best Environmental Practice PVC (BEP PVC™) for vinyl products that require certification during procurement and seek recognition under Green Star™, Defence or Lend Lease procurement requirements;

Approved as a National Certification Mark by the ACCC in Australia the Global GreenTagCert TM certification system operates under strict International Standards. These include ISO 14024, ISO 17065, ISO 9001:2015 as well as peer reviewed 140040-44 LCA and ISO 14025 ISO 21930 and EN 15804 EPDs. The Global GreenTag Certification Mark also remains the first sustainable building product related certification scheme standard approved in Australia by the ACCC.
