West Australian Premier McGowan flags potential use for COVID quarantine hub

The Western Australian government may consider alternative uses for the purpose-build COVID-19 quarantine facility that is still under construction in the Perth suburb of Bullsbrook.
The Premier has emphasised that the facility was commissioned by the former federal Coalition government, adding that while it is not needed for quarantine purposes at present this may be necessary in the future. He has suggested that the facility could potentially be used to temporarily house skilled foreign workers, amid a chronic shortage of rental housing in Perth. READ MORE
