Do It In Douglas – The Sustainability Story
Douglas Shire is hosting a free breakfast event, in which you can hear from a panel of speakers who will get you inspired, help you access the tools you need to enhance your sustainability efforts and/or start your sustainability story, as well as discovering the importance of sustainability to the local economy. The session will be relevant to all small businesses across Douglas, and as such, places are limited. You will need to book to reserve your place. Please note: There is a maximum of two tickets per business.

Create, Connect, Contribute – Migrant Job Fair and Business Expo
If you are a business or industry sector that is struggling to find local talent and fill vacancies, this event is for you. The Sunshine Coast has a diverse and rich cultural mix and this expo is looking to create meaningful connections between local businesses and high value industry sectors, and the talent pool of skilled migrants and their families that already live and work on the Sunshine Coast. It provides funding for small and medium-sized high-growth businesses to buy specialised equipment, enabling them to unlock growth potential, increase production, expand their workforce, and maximise economic returns to move them to the next stage of growth.
