AFA Member accredited choose Australia first brands meet with Australian product requirements, as specified by the Australian Consumer Law (ACL) providing a level of reassurance to commercial and residential buyers.
AFA Members must adhere to the ACL when claiming choose Australia first accreditation and sign an official declaration on the Conditions of Use when registering as a choose Australia first brand, and in doing so providing a level of reassurance to consumers.
choose Australia first accredited brands appear on the AFA website to make it simple for procurers, designers, architects, specifiers, buyers and consumers to make an educated choice when purchasing Australian products from Australian businesses who employ Australian workers.
